Beauty Is Just Overall

People just couldn’t stand to be ugly. That is a simple fact that why humans are always on the race to grab the tittle of beautiful. Often neglected by today’s beauty chaser, they forgot what is beauty all about in the first place.

As a matter of fact, beauty is an overall assessment to someone’s personal characteristic. Often said that being unique is a beauty itself. Being beautiful always provides something giving someone the true meaning in life to live with. Satisfaction is one of the example which beauty can provides to someones life. An ideal beauty is an entity which is admired, or possesses features widely attributed to beauty in a particular culture.

The experience of BEAUTY often involves the interpretation of some entity as being in balance and harmony with nature, which may lead to feelings of attraction and emotional well-being. Because this is a subjective experience, it is often said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In its most profound sense, beauty may engender a salient experience of positive reflection about the meaning of one’s own existence. A subject of beauty is anything that resonates with personal meaning.

There is two major characteristic of beauty that always comes as a measurement that is the inner beauty and the outer beauty. Often people now days abandoning one of the characteristic as a matter of which one comes important to them. Gaining outer beauty is not as simple as gaining the inner beauty. A strong core of self morale is the main factor to cultivate the other quality of inner beauty as in the end, it all comes in a package.

Inner Beauty

Inner beauty is characteristics which includes psychological factors such as personality, intelligence, grace, congeniality, charm, integrity, congruity and elegance. Often all of this subject is assess under a cultural point of view and it may vary from one race to another. Thus, inner beauty is a subjective evaluation on beauty and always forgotten.

Outer Beauty

Outer beauty is come under assessment which includes physical factors, such as health, youthfulness, sexiness, symmetry, averageness, and complexion of physical appearance.

A strong indicator of physical beauty is “averageness”, or “koinophilia”. When images of human faces are averaged together to form a composite image, they become progressively closer to the ideal image and are perceived as more attractive.

Another feature of beautiful women that has been explored by researchers is a waist-to-hip ratio of approximately 0.70 for women. Physiologists have shown that this ratio accurately indicates most women’s fertility. Weight and skin color often govern attractiveness in a way dependent on one’s culture.

Beauty is not solely limited to the female gender

More often defined as ‘bishōnen,’ the concept of beauty in men has been particularly established throughout history in East Asia, and most notably, in Japan. This is distinct from the idea of being metrosexual, which focuses mainly on the behavior of men in traditionally feminine ways. Bishōnen refers to males with distinctly feminine features, physical characteristics establishing the standard of beauty in Japan and typically exhibited in their pop culture idols. The origin of such a preference is uncertain but it clearly exists even today.
